Ambedkar Overseas Education fund under SC, ST Subplan helps to Sc, ST students who want to persue education overseas. If they get seat in any of universities in Australia, Canada, Singapore, Us and England, they can persue PG and PHD courses there, Before that, they have to pass any of TOEFEL, IELTS, GRE, Gmat courses. Govt will sanction upto Rs. 10 Lakhs for this. If needed further, Govt will arrange upto Rs. 5 lakhs as loan. Only one member in a family get this opportunity. Govt will Select 500 SC, 100 ST Students for this. 33 p.c reservation will be allotted to Women. Their family Income should be below Rs. 2 lakhs for SCs, Rs. 2.5 Lakhs for STs. They have to persue pre selected course. They should get minimum of 60 percent marks in Engg, Management, Pure Sciences, Agri. Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Social Science, Humanities.
